Drawings
One of my past time hobbies, other than piano and doing nothing, is drawing. I don’t do any kind of drawing though … furry, dragons, cats and elves are my thing. Most are in anime/manga style.
Now a few things to point out:
- I am a complete amateur
- Takes me forever to draw any one thing
- I can’t draw hands for the love of me.
- Most things are drawn on pencil
- Some are ‘remastered’ with Gimp and a Wacom tablet.
(Yes, he’s missing a tail. I know!)

There is a lot of back-story (and regular story) for Larok. He is the main character of the “Shadows” story. More on him ‘eventually’.
This image was originally drawn by hand over a year ago. About 1 month of getting certain details right, I scanned it into Gimp and started fiddling around. Re-doing all the lines and whatnot in gimp took more time than I care to remember. Coloring actually wasn’t too hard. Paintbucket here, paint bucket there… easy! Shading was rather hard as getting good colors isn’t my specialty. First time for everything though. About 2 months after scanning in this is what finally emerged. And no, I didn’t work on it for 2 months straight. An hour here and there.

Kat was a quick draw. Took me about 3 hours to draw. Yes, 3 hours is quick for me. The image below is cropped because I didn’t like how certain ‘portions’ of her body came out. So, all you get to see is the chest up.
